Yahoo! Mail

The all new Yahoo! mail is absolutely having a new look and feel for the interface.

It gives us an integrated yahoo messenger as in google mail, and also it has some applications which can be used within the email, like Flickr, Notepad, My drive (takes your large files everywhere), Automatic organizer etc...

Also it still maintains the other old features such as folders and skins, so that it remains Yahoo!

The integrated tab function allows us to use the mail service in a better way without getting messed up in between mails.

Overall -- Yahoo! gives a good UI and good feel -- Try it if you are curious!

Orkut has now introduced the first downloadable orkut mobile app, with even more features to keep you connected to your orkut friends and other phone contacts. It has a sleek black finish as the current theme and I hope it gets customizable in the future and also the feel of the app is wonderful in my Nokia E61.

The orkut Mobile App, available for most Java-enabled devices, offers some fun new ways to interact:
- Upload the photo from your mobile.
- Photo sharing with orkut friends or SMS the photos to phone contacts not yet on orkut.
- Call or SMS any of your orkut friends or phone contacts without leaving the app.
- View scraps, updates from friends, and photo albums in offline mode.

To install the beta version of the app, visit m.google.com/orkut on your phone. While the app is free to download and use, your mobile provider's regular data charges will apply.

Google Chrome Tips - 1

Well, I have been using Google Chrome browser for quite a long time and now I am fan of it.

I have been also working on tweaking the browser to make it as customized as possible. During this time I found one of the interesting things which is the "Bookmarks bar". Even though new tab shows your frequently visited websites imagine what if you have around 40 websites bookmarked in the bar and visible. Comfy, right ?

Yes, it is quite simple as it is. When you click the star button next to the address bar to bookmark, a small window opens which asks for the Name, just delete the content in the text box and close the box, your bookmark will be saved in the place where you have mentioned. Later you can just click and drag it to the bookmark bar and arrange it in the order you want to and there it is.

Simple and comfortable ! Try it and let me know :)
